Earlier the Morning Assamese bulletin was telecast at 9 AM, now it is aired at 8.50 AM.
The North East Evening bulletin in English was launched on March 1, 1997. This bulletin is relayed by all the Kendra's of North Eastern States including Sikkim. The Statescan bulletin in English was added later in 2004. This bulletin, which is aired by DD News studio at Delhi covers the entire north eastern states, was initially on all week days, later it was minimised to four days i.e. on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for 10 minutes duration. On every Tuesday Newspaper Review Segment is telecast which has been hot switched by DD News studio at Delhi at 8.30 AM.
Scrolling for updated news for both English and Assamese bulletins including daily temperature update is done from the newsroom itself on regular basis with the installation of new equipments.
The newsroom was fully automated in 2005, with which the news bulletin script is read by the News presenters in the studio from the automated teleprompter with the installation of Q-series. Previously for about last 2 years, BDL system was introduced for online scripting of English bulletins only.
